Emily Cobb Russell has deep roots in Caswell County. She is a life-long resident and grew up on her family’s tobacco farm in Southern Caswell, where she still resides. Although the family no longer raises tobacco, the land is now utilized for wheat and soybean crops. She has two sons, Brendan and Cole. Brendan is a student at NC State University, majoring in Biological Engineering and Cole is a Senior at Bartlett Yancey High School.

Emily has a decade of real estate sales experience under her belt. Emily started in the real estate industry as an agent in Virginia in 2001 and earned her broker’s license in 2006. She was awarded the prestigious Rookie of the Year award her first year in the industry and served as 2007 President of the Dan River Region Association of Realtors. In 2009 she left the industry and focused on furthering her career in Corporate Financial Accounting, but her intense love of real estate and her outgoing personality drew her back to her first love: Real Estate!

In her first year back in the profession, Emily closed 20 transactions with over $3 million in production. For the first five months of 2023 she has already closed 16 transactions and is on track to double her 2022 production.

Emily holds a B.A. in Economics from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and an MBA from Liberty University.
